Error 3001, error 2038 or Access denied message

If you encounter error 3001, error 2038, or an Access Denied message, it means that the software is unable to access any files on your system. To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that you have sufficient free space on your hard drive.
  2. Check that you have full access rights to all files and directories.
  3. Verify that no antivirus software is blocking access to the files.
  4. If any of these issues are the case, unblock the Saal Design software in the relevant programs.
  5. Once unblocked, you should be able to upload files without any further problems.

For macOS users, follow these additional steps:

  1. Allow the design software full access to your hard drive. You can do this by going to the Security > Privacy > Full Disk Access section in your system preferences.
  2. In this section, add the design software as an application that should have full disk access. By adding it here, the software should be able to save the files.

By completing these steps, you should be able to address the error 3001, error 2038, or Access Denied message and regain normal functionality in the software.
