Cards

There are several card options to choose from. Select a card theme to use design lines or templates to quickly create your personalised card. If you choose Cards, Postcards, or Mini Leporellos, you will design them in the same way as other photo products using the App Designer.

Cards configuration

After selecting a card option such as Wedding, Baby, Baptism, Birthday, Christmas, or Communion, the configurator will open for you to configure:

Type: Choose whether you want a Card with no fold, a Folded card (left-right) with a leftward fold, a Folded card (up-down) with a downward fold, or a Double folded card with two folds.
Order quantity: Select the number of cards you wish to order. You can choose a specific quantity by selecting Custom and entering the desired value. The ordered quantity can be adjusted later. If you select the Free Sample option, you will receive a free sample card with a SAMPLE watermark after completing your design and placing your order. This allows you to review the configuration and ensure the final result meets your expectations before proceeding with a larger order.
Format: Choose the format for your cards. Options will vary depending on the Type selected.
Type of paper: Choose the desired paper surface for the cards.
Envelope: By default, an envelope is selected. You can change this selection if you wish.
Special finishing: Allows you to activate one of our special finishing effects. Once activated, this finish can be applied to text in the designer by selecting the special colour.

Note that you can change the configuration later in the Designer by clicking on the three dots button in the top right corner and selecting the Change article button.

Once configured, click the Design now button at the bottom.

Cards Design modes

There are two different design modes available:

• Design it yourself: Allows you to design the card from scratch. As with other products, you can choose a different design line, select the layout you like best, adjust or remove the objects included in the layout, or create your design from scratch. Note that for Postcards and Mini Leporellos, this is the only design mode available.
• Choose a template: Let you choose a card template. Options displayed will vary according to the theme selected. Click on a template to select it. Note that you will be able to change the template later within the designer by selecting the three dots button in the top right corner and choosing Template.

Once selected, the Designer will open with the chosen template.

Regardless of the design mode you choose, you can modify the template if it has been selected or edit the page of your card as you wish. Select the side of the card you want to design. This will bring up the editing tools for that page. You can then modify and add Images, Cliparts, Text, Fill boxes, QR codes, and Backgrounds, and change the Layout as required.

Special finishing

If you have selected one of our special finishes in the configurator, the special colour will be available for you to select. This adds elegant embossing and a unique finish to the applied object.
When adding text, you will find the special finishing colour within the Edit Text menu. Clicking on the colour selector will display all the options available. Under the heading Special colours, the special finishing selected will be available for you to choose.
